Instructions

A penalty kick is a unique kick used in association football to shoot from a great distance towards the goal. A player who is outside the penalty area often receives a penalty kick. These athletes are permitted to shoot from outside the penalty area. Unless permitted, they are not allowed to fire from beyond the penalty area. There may be a player on one squad who is good at taking and executing penalty kicks.

Rules

Referees will inform the offending side, instructing them to kick the penalty from the penalty mark. This is a part of the field. A kick that originates from the penalty mark is a penalty kick. This kind of kick will result in a side penalty. The site of the foul or another end may be chosen for the penalty kick.
